She Sells Sea Shells by the Seashore… on Sunday

My husband always says: don’t let your Mondays ruin your Sundays. I have the tendency to start planning my week in my head mid-day Sunday and by the evening I’m already letting the weekday stress creep in. He, on the other hand, is determined to make the weekend last as long as possible, to stretch out every last second. I have to practically drag him away from the beach. So the question is how to bring a little bit of the beach home with us as a reminder that the next weekend is very near?

A bowl of sea shells in our modern urban apartment seems a little out of place, but spray painted metallic silver they fit in just right.

Silver Sea Shells

Materials: Shells, Metallic Spray Paint, Newspaper

Directions: Cover area with newspaper. Spray shells. Dry. Turn and spray other side. Dry. Display. No need to complicate.
