Yesterday, I walked into work and a colleague said, “Wow, Kim, you look like…a tired mess.” Well, good morning to you too buddy. The worst part is, I thought I was kind of pulling off the just-got-out-of-bed-but-still-
1. I’m trying to keep it classy here, so I won’t say it. But I’ll give you a hint. It involved the finger located in between the index and the ring finger.
2. Immediately ran to the bathroom to try to fix myself up. I did a version of the braided bun (this version was one braid on either side of the head pulled back into a regular bun.) No pins needed, just one rubber band. Felt a slight pick-me-up and I made those braids tight so it was also a mini face lift at the same time.
3. Promised myself a 10:30pm bedtime (translation: 11:30pm at the earliest).
Some would then go for the chocolate, others would go for a run. But for my pick me up, I do online retail therapy. Summer dresses to be specific. They just make me happy and it’s far more challenging to look like a tired mess in them.
