My husband has gone beard-happy-shave-lazy in 2012. Luckily, he keeps it trimmed and fairly short, but I’ve yet to make up my mind about it. He looks very handsome, but I think I prefer to kiss a clean, smooth face. This past weekend each of his family members had an opinion about his new facial hair, but he was a good sport.
Coincidentally, the online craft world has recently gone mustache happy. And I must admit, it makes me smile every time I see one (I recommend saying moo-stash in your head to make it that much more funny). So last night I served a little funny with dinner.

To make these mustache straws, I followed Sweet Paul‘s lead:
“Google mustache templates and print out the ones you like. Cut them out and make a hole with a hole puncher in the middle. Add a straw and everyone gets their own trim mustache.”
Some tips: Use black construction paper if possible. Make mustaches a little bigger than you think. Our were kind of small (or our faces are kind of big, not sure). Make funny faces, take pictures, enjoy.

Jim is growing a stash again and I love it!
Aww.. like the good ole days!
