I’m not calling my husband and myself lazy, but… we have become slightly allergic to fitness. In the summer we love to hike, roller blade, play tennis.. but in the winter I find us watching TV and eating more. Neither of us are runners and though we have a beautiful gym in our building, we only utilize it when our nieces/nephews want to go swimming. Indoor tennis court time is a fortune in NYC ($120/hr for 2 people!), but we found a tennis clinic (through Tennis Tip) which is more affordable and a great workout. Last night was week 2 of our 10 week clinic and let me tell you, we worked up a sweat.
Here are a few other active classes that would motivate me to move my tush… any other suggestions?
Indoor Rock Climbing, Chelsea Piers
Sand Volleyball, Chelsea Piers
Indoor Surfing; really want to find a local place to do this.. too cool!
