And They Lived Happily Ever After…

Yesterday I bragged about the centerpieces I made for Michelle. Today, I have to brag about the gift Michelle gave to me. It was one of the most special wedding gifts we received. She found an 1896 edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales book in an antique shop (could also find at a flea market probably). She wrote a touching note that the stories inside are timeless and she wishes us an everlasting fairy tale. I love that the pages are browned and tattered and the illustrations look like they’ve been colored in by crayon. Many of the stories we know: Rapunzel, Rumplestiltskin, Sleeping Beauty and I love the ones I’m reading for the first time.

I love waking up to your your sweet, interesting, inspiring, and loving posts! You have such a natural gift for expressing yourself. This post touched me to the core and I thank you for sharing the sentimentality of your special wedding gift. Love does make the world go round: there is nothing more wonderful than to love and be loved. So I’ll continue to look forward to my morning dose of “Love You Madly!” It’s the best. Send my love to your parents.
